Yours truly. Photographed by yours truly.
The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) is the U.S. advertising industry's oldest and largest trade association. It was established to promote cooperative relationships between regional and national advertising industries, manufacturers and dealers, and advertisers and agencies.
In 2021, the ANA faced a challenge that many across the world were also facing: how to adjust their annual offering to a world that was still locked behind doors. For the ANA, this would be their first entirely virtual awards show, and so they turned to us to help them find the positives.
The copywriter explored, with tongue-in-cheek language and bold visuals, the similarities between remote and office work, showing some common bugbears designed to bring a smile to the faces of the creatives, designers, copywriters, and agency folk who see them. I then followed his visual cues and references and together we came up with an entire range of assets that, at times, felt much too real.

WHAT I DID:
- Work closely with the creative copywriter to source the most suitable images to convey the message.
- Develop a series of social assets and emails throughout the campaign, included its extended deadline, winner's gallery and badges, even producing my own take on gold tape, photographing and adding it into the assets when the suggested online assets wouldn't do.
- Styled, produced and modelled for one of the visuals when we struggled to find a suitable image for the headline. This saved precious time and kept production costs down.

This campaign ran from start to finish, through marketing the awards show to DM communication to drive sign-ups, all the way to award wins and winner's galleries.
