SUMMARY
Brand identity crafted for Magellania, a private tour operator located in Chilean Patagonia. We developed a simple, impactful and outstanding logo for usage on digital and printed media, as well as digital assets like brochures and a website.
Like Patagonia, it is better experienced in the wild.
WHAT I DID
The brief was to create a simple, easily recognisable logo and design system for their business, which has primarily online touchpoints. Following the logo, online brochures would follow and a website that would tie everything together.

HOW I DID IT
The concept behind the brand is uncovering exploration.
When traveling, we transition from one place to another. We experience things and capture them to later show them around. Its storytelling at its very core. Those who work in hospitality have mastered this narrative craft by telling stories, knowing the road ahead and carefully planning heart-stopping moments for their guests.
Visually, this is achieved by overlapping the logo’s letters with one another to give the impression of a mountainous valley -or fjord- that reveals itself as you venture into it.

This “layering” is continued throughout the assets in a non-invasive way, so that key content - mainly photographs- always take the center stage.
