Patagonia Blend - Coffee Packaging

Patagonia Blend is a local, small business that imports, roasts and sells coffee with excellent quality standards and challenges the local belief that coffee cannot be produced in this cold weather. Proud that such a good product was being made here, I approached them and, together with artist Daniela Kovacic, we began to work on their new image, that soon extended to a larger, very fun project. Our ideas and vision of how to visually make an impact as big as the product inside the bag gained the client’s trust and we embarked on producing their new identity, packaging and copywriting. In a city where design is often overlooked, overcoming the established patterns and traditionalist type of results, the products we designed made a big impact in both the client and ourselves.

We also have coffee.

We started a project that begun with a new image for the brand, that expanded to the cups and packaging. I worked as the director of the project in close collaboration with artist/designer Daniela Kovačić.

In a city where design is often overlooked, overcoming the established patterns and traditionalist type of results, the products we designed made a big impact in both the client and ourselves.

Aside from the corporate image and packaging, we came up with distinctive names for the types of coffee, ones that reflect our origin (Patagonia-based roasters) and the quality of the coffee at the same time.

We added small details for those who really wanted to explore these bags.
